The Holm Heritage Group was formed on 11 October 2007 and is interested in any artefacts, stories or pictures to do with the parish and people of Holm. At the moment we are particularly interested in receiving photographs of the parish, or of Holm folk out and about around the world and would love to hear from anyone.

We think the Shearer first name is Aileen (Eileen) married to John Laughton of Cockmurra( far right back row).Don't think that can be Netta Brown .Could be Aileen( Eileen) Brown. Netta Brown was a younger generation.

Alfie Sutherland married Violet Gillespie. Molly Wylie married Allen Heddle. Elaine Crowther married Stanley Kirkness. Vera Garriock married Gordon Muir. Sad to remember many of the partnerships are no longer because of the death of one or both over the years. Just goes to show that we don't stray too far from our own kind when choosing a partner.
