Yes,it's a Spitfire.I think it's a MK5 although this one was repainted in racing scheme colours.

Spitfire Mk IX - civvy registration G-FIRE. 'Google search' will produce a number of different images.

Think its later than Mk5, probably Mk 13 or 14 ?.

Agree with the last comment don't think it is a MK5 more like the later models.

This is one of the later marks with a Griffin engine. It belonged to a friend of mine a BA748 Captain Roger Hendry
