What a great idea. I want one.

I made it, I am not a retired blacksmith and no I don't have too much time on my hands. Time is irrelevant when doing something for friends. This is no 2 of 4 I ever made. I hope the owners are enjoying their new life in Orkney and we will get up there at some point to visit them and the tree.

[Good work Gary, thanks for commenting - cheers, Steven]

Designed and created in Rothienorman Aberdeenshire by Gary Hughes and gifted to us for our garden. No way could we leave it behind, especially when people told us there are no trees in Orkney!

There must be a lot of horses going around with cold feet.

I snapped a pic of this a few years ago and now want to use it as an image on the cover of a book. I have credited Gary Hughes with its design & creation but I want to make sure that the owners are ok with its use.
