That's Isaac Newlands.
He donated many a sports trophy to be played for.
The footballers still play for one of his cups. He was a regular in Costies too

Always smart and tidy, he was a piper in the army and will be long remembered in Orkney. In all a nice guy .

When pressing his point of view he would say "Hang it aa man" and never a swear word left his lips in his life.

he used to turn up and support Kirkwall Rovers on a regular basis at Bignold Park when I played 1975 to 1979 as I remember one of his favourite sayings was `lovely grub`, quite a character!
