Some of my old Agfachrome slides are fading into magenta; the worst are beyond redemption. Looks like your pics have the same problem Billy. Magenta must be a powerful dye!

Billy, don't know about the year the picture was taken but the seamans strike was in 1966.

Pretty sure that's when it was taken Ernie. The steamers were only allowed to sail two days a week with the mail and perishables and anything else the unions agreed to. People started using Gordie Kent and fishing boats to get back and fore - datewise you're right!

Aye I was on the old Magnus prior to the strike but never went back when it was over. I joined you guys on the Sigurd for six months or so when the strike ended.
