HMS Barham

HMS Barham was in the Flow in August 1940. I read a letter in WW2 Peoples War on the web written by Surgeon Commander E R Sorley RN, to his wife on the 18th August 1940. Telling her of a shore visit when Tubby Clayton took him to the convalescent home run by the Toc H at Woodwick House for navy personel. The Commander was lost with 860 others when the Barham blew up in November 1941.
