Trampan blankets 2

Not an expression I've heard lately but It would have been good for washing the feet too.

Thanks, Ron. It's fascinating to see what my old home used to look like. I believe it was let out with a family in each end about this time. I can't quite figure out what's been happening at that back wall. I think there must have been bits built on and knocked down and a door blocked up. Have you got any more pictures of it?

I see the Cathedral in the background. Where abouts was the photo taken. Wondering if it was Rhoda and Peggy Heddle twisting blanket?Difficult to be sure with so many look a likes around.

They obviously seem to be enjoying themselves Ron - I only hope the sun shone long enough to dry the blankets! Reminds me of folding sheets on washday with my mother - I would always laugh and Mum used to say "What are you laughing at?"
I guess simple minds make for simple pleasures!
