Willie Waters' picture #24830, so brilliantly timed, made me imagine an aviation artist, seated at his easel, capturing the scene with leisurely brush-strokes. (Unfortunately, he painted out the white-haired gentleman in the foreground - hope he wasn't a friend of yours Mr Watters.) This picture might resemble the end-result of the painter's efforts.
Incidentally, you wouldn't get formation jet aerobatics taking place towards the crowd these days.
