Does anybody know the meaning of "Knugsdale" please?

Knugdale in Westray was the house built in the valley of the small round hill. I think it came from old Norse. Agnes Drever of Knugdale Stronsay was a daughter of Knugdale in Westray. I am her great grandson I used to stay in Knugdale in St. Ola.
