An aerial view of Kirkwall's expansion to the south in the 50s and 60s, taken Friday 13th June 2008. "Car parks" shown in picture #12218 and picture #12242. My current house and the house my folks have lived in since 1968 both here too!
Bignold Park top left and Kirklands Road bottom right for the less spatially aware amongst us.

Kirkwall
First pic I've seen of both my house and my parents house in one go.
And the lovely job the cooncil made of the two carparks at the end of Haakon street....
