Mystery object number 2 revealed

The picture on the left posed the question, 'What am I?' Well the answer is revealed above, and it didn't fool many of you it seems. The picture is a view looking up through my home brew in a Pyrex bowl (or 'decanter' as I like to think of it). Serving suggestion depicted inset on left. It was poured from a 2 litre plastic bottle (provided by Alan Hale following my plea for bottles on the Orkneycommunities notice board last year) which is 3 and a half pints- the decanter is necessary.

I was going to offer a bottle of the brew to the winner (probably Bruce for being closest first) and still will, but must warn you that I think it has been in the bottle too long now, on the basis of drinking the pint pictured, and another just to be sure. Bruce- claim your prize if you dare!

It's a 40 pint Geordie Scottish Export kit, BTW.
