This would have been the water supply for the men stationed to guard the cable hut at Innan Neb in Flotta during ww2.

As part of a crazy burst of attempting to get fit two years ago I did the Flotta 10k run, I was that dry I was almost tempted to try that same water supply for myself.

That dam was built by my great grandfather John Shearer.He was stationed at Neb during the first war. My father Richard has photos of them building it.
