Harvest Day at Scapa

A Tom Kent photo of reaping in a field of Upper Scapa with a reaper and plenty of hands to bind and stook the sheaves. I have no knowledge of the workers, before my time probably about 1920. I knew this area extremely well but there is nothing to give me an inkling of the date.

Comments:
I have been looking at the original of this photo which shows quite a bit more on the left and takes in Nether Scapa. There is no evidence of the seaplane base so it must have been taken before 1916. The caption in Shoal & Sheaf credits it with c.1900 but I think it may have been a few years later.
