Looks like the same place as your other three old car photos, Brandyman, and I'd say it was Hillhead, St Ola - at least judging by the Tom Kent photos of Walter Grant's cars that you can see on the Orkney Library website. If you look closely I think you can just make out the spire of the Cathedral and Kirkwall Bay near the top of the picture.
