Last night saw the Orkney Heritage Society's annual trip to Eynhallow. The departure from Tingwall was delayed by the Finstown road being blocked by a fire at Esson's Garage, but we scrambled onto the shore about 7.45. The weather was perfect- sunny, warm, and with a gentle breeze to stifle the midges.
