Don't know what or where this is - maybe Scapa. Is the photo the wrong way around? Is that why the boat is going backwards - oops - astern?

m.v. 'Noup Head' reversing out from the Papay Pier circa 1975. She would have been owned by William Seatter the coal merchant in Westray at that time. He also owned Vestness Farm on Papay - probably the reason for the trip to Papay.

I am pleased to confirm that Rob is correct. This is Papa Westray. I had forgotten about the occasion (don't ask). It was taken from the MV Orcadia

There is a photo of the Orana in the heritage centre Shapinsay- a copy in Howard Hazell's book.
