The Queen's visit to Westray - 1960 - photo 2

Her Majesty the Queen and The Duke of Edinburgh talking to Mr Norman Cooper, Headmaster of Pierowall School, on the occasion of the opening of the new school buildings on 12 August 1960. On the extreme right is Mr John Shearer, Director of Education at that time. Can anyone name the others standing nearest to Colonel H.W. Scarth.
I took this photo with a Kodak Brownie Cresta II camera which was sitting on top the the school gate pillar. The Queen had just walked in past me - security was rather lax in those good old days.

Comments:
The Lord Lieutenant isn't Colonel H.W. Scarth but his first cousin, Bob Scarth (my mother's uncle). Henry succeeded Uncle Bob, becoming L.L. in 1966.
