I remember visiting the Golden slipper on a Saturday evening when it was really busy, as it usually was on a Saturday night.That would have been around 50 yrs ago.Ah those were the days!. Willie was shoving mince pies in one side of the enchantress stove and minutes later pulling them out the opposite door as hot pies.

Great neighbour he was knew him all my life and his mother who he called mammie, gosh I must be getting old
