Taken at the count for the Scottish Parliamentary and Local Government Elections of 3rd May. It was about 4am on 4th May by this point, and most people there were frazzled and pensive. The screens facing right were used to flash up voting papers that the system could not read unambiguously for verification by candidates and their agents. I still think that a '7' that I got was really a '1', but I won't be demanding a rerun, oh no...
The Parliamentary result was an anti-climax as the big screen displayed a histogram of how the local and regional votes were being split, so the winner was obvious from about 11.30.
