How many people in this county have an aluminium strip with their name stamped in it? Or a plastic coated junior hacksaw?
A goodly number I wager. We had Mr Hill for metalwork and he sadly died very young. I remember him every time I put up a poster as he showed us how to do it and get it flat every time.
Picture taken January 2014 just before the school was handed over for demolition.

Mr Hill was a dude & one of the more likeable teachers, "Out of the way Hine" he would shout, "Time is money!" He also once said, "Hine boy sit in your seat, keep those elevation lines neat"

Yes I still have my hacksaw but minus the plastic, used it today as I often do. Don't have a name tag, think I left it at school. No much use anyway as I managed to spell my name with three L

I struggle to remember now - was Mr Hill the one who was fond of handing out 200 word essays as punishment?
