Many a brilliant steak pie and surprisingly good spam fritter did I have here. Also on my day 1 at KGS in 1977 when we were all gathered together to hear our names read out and be sent to registration classes, I waited and waited until I was the only one left as the teacher had missed out my name when going through the list. Scarred for life!

In my mind, this hall was mammoth! It looks surprisingly small. It's funny how the beamed ceiling is the first thing I notice now. I've no recollection of that when I was there!!
