Council Trencher

Another one of the digging machines used to lay the Council new water scheme pipes.
Picture added on 25 March 2007
Comments:
I remember this machine digging the water track through Stenness in the late 50`s, sadly it ended it`s days in a bog at Neversdale Orphir after being purchased by the late Sidney Bichan, Swanbister, Orphir.

I would be interested to read the rest of that poem, any chance of adding it here?
Added by Craig Taylor on 26 March 2007
Yes it's just protruding in a field at Naversdale. Anybody interested in digging it up is welcome to do so.
