Comments:
David John Peace was my father. In 1939 he joined the Air Ministry [TRE] in Dundee as an instrument maker. They were later that year moved to Worth Matravers in Dorset with SRE Bawdsey, Suffolk to build the first operational early warning radar station on the south coast. In 1942 RRE was moved to Malvern, Worcestershire to continue the development of radar on land and in aircraft and ultimately became the Royal Radar Research Establishment where he worked until his retirement in 1972. He was a very talented engineer and inventor.
