This picture belongs to my Mum Margaret Gray nee Stephen. Her father (and my Grandad) is Alexander P. Stephen.
She lived at Mill Bay West on Hoy. She's in second row, 7th from right, wearing glasses. My Mum looks to be around 6 or 7? which puts this photo around 1945/6.
Must be a Christmas party as Santa is on the stage!

Hi Brian, This picture was taken in the Iris Hall,
my mother Kathleen Stephen (nee Hay) is also in the 2nd row, 3rd from the right, with the ribbon in her hair. She is married Matthew Stephen, your Grandad's youngest brother

Janet - Nice to hear from you. I remember your parents and last saw them at Grandads funeral in 2006? If I remember correctly you have a twin brother called Peter? Would be nice to hear from you, my email is included in this email. I'm also in contact with Doreen Martin via this website and with whom I've shared some old photos. I'm sure I have some photos at home with your Mum on, I went through some old photos with my Mum a few years ago and I'm sure there's some with 'Cathy Hay' written on the back. Anyway I'll check later today.
