There was more litter along the wall to the right of the bin. There is a chip shop nearbye. This photo was taken on 20th April, 2011.

Indeed Billy, OIC are to be commended on the stoutness of this structure. And if military maneuvers are held in the area at least the bridge will not collapse and send our brave soldiers into the raging torrent below.

Seems to me that, by some folk, OIC are damned if they do and damned if they don't.
You say the bridge is too strong.If they had put up a flimsier one you would have criticised it.

Aye Ann, you're ferly right. I have been guilty of knocking OIC now and then but most of the time they do a good job. I shudder to think what the hitherto excellent road maintenance and refuse collection will be like when the cuts bite.

Not to worry Sandy, every cloud has a silver lining. We'll be able to dump our garden refuse in the potholes and nobody will ever notice!!
