Photo taken at a guess 1960. Harry Russell, senr.from Cannigal Farm,St.Ola,in the process of filling his pipe. Don't know who took the photo but Harry used to take the milk cans full of milk in to the Cheese Factory every morning after milking and he always did a bit of shopping after. Groundwater's rolls were top of the list. Harry had a Heart of gold and always had time to pass the time of day with everyone. He's still sadly missed by all who knew him. Added by Phil Brough.

Good to see photos of relatives that I never knew. My grandad Robert Gillespie who would I think have been his first cousin was keen on photography and used to developed his own photos. When dad was cleaning out his garage before the Glebe was sold he found all his old photography stuff but it in a poor state.

Never knew Harry but "Owld Bob o the Glebe" was a very clever man who had so much talent but was never one to say what he knew, jist quietly lived his life.
They were alike it would seem. True gents.
