Can someone identify the port of departure in this picture? Is it Bremerhaven? Could the arrival in Australia have taken place in the month of April? Thank you.

My grandparents landed in australia on 18 April 1953, anybody know how long the voyage would have taken from Germany? It might give me a better idea of when they boarded and following the actual voyage.

Kim, the departure date from Germany was 14 March 1953, making the journey time 5 weeks.
