[Date initially guessed at 1975- Steven]

Hello, Willie. I would suggest the photo dates back to the 1960s. I believe BEA were absorbed into British Airways in 1974 and the fuel truck appears to be an early 1950s design Bedford S type. So if you split the difference, you end up with around 1965.

[It was my guess, but I agree with your points- lets go with 1968 as I did have a BEA badge from my first flight on one then (aged 2) - Steven]

Most likley 1969. I was flying back and forth to Wick a lot then. The Viscount would land in Wick from Inverness. Usually nobody got off but the Wick BEA staff would count everybody just in case and both doors were opened for some safety reason and you would freeze.

According to the infallible (!) Wikipedia, BEA ceased operating under that name in 1974.

Going by the logo it would appear to be 1960's
