Great photo Phyllis confirms what I said in a comment on Ian's reference aboot the "Waster Noust." I guess Grandad's Yole the "Mohican" will be ane o them in your photo. They left in 1924. His dinghy wiz the "Mary," a heavy brute o a thing. Your Grandad Donald Sinclair was a crewman on the Hoy Head based here in Longhope. He telled me he borrowed the "Mary" tae go home tae Flotta for the day, on the way the spreet jumped oot o the shangy and gead through the bottom o owld Tamsons boat!!. I said wir yae no feard yae wid sink Donald, no bit I damned feard tae tell owld Tamson I hid pitten a hole in his boat!!!. Keep them comman Phyiiis this is what wae need. Keep "daelan" inta that owld boxes o photos.
