Peter Croy at Millbank

Peter Croy at Millbank. Peter had flu but got up to go to a funeral, got cold and never worked again. He lived all the rest of his life on saps, every meal of the day. How many folk today would know how to make saps. Could only guess at the age of this photo . late 1920 s or early 1930 ish

Comments:
"Saps" brings back memories to me! I was born in the '30's and Mum made saps if we'd had teeth out at the dentists. We just ate it out of the cup with a teaspoon, and that was the only occasion we had saps!

Saps . . . a rare treat!
Just the other day one of my berns asked if we had enough milk to make saps.
