As you can see, in this photograph the Town Hall is well under construction so perhaps the date is not correct. I'm sure this is The Ba' and if not, what could it be?

"Uppies and Doonies" claimed an 1898 McGregor picture of the throw up as the oldest extant photo of the ba'. This would seem to beat it by 13 years or so. The scrum looks just as big as today.
