'Europa' at Scapa.

[I'm sure I've got some slides of the Europa in Kirkwall Bay about 1981, and it seemed absolutely huge then- Steven]

This will be the second Europa, the first one looked much longer,it along with the Maxim Gorky were the first big Liners'to visit Kirkwall Bay in the 1980's. Added by Phil Brough.

No Geoff, It came into Scapa because of the weather conditions in Kirkwall Bay. I took the photo about 10.45am on a very windy Sunday morning.

....In fact the top of the red buoy is just visible at the foot of the photo...
