This shot is about 1974 or thereabouts taken from the roof of the fire station with the old Thornycroft foam tender in forefround.
This was in the days of the Viscounts a lovely graceful a/c carrying twice as many folk as the current a/c.
The control tower is now where the a/c in front of the Viscount is parked, happy days then!
