By the look of the vehicles I think 1978 is a bit modern try 1958 or maybe they still use these in stronsay there is always a good isle's car?

The council houses are not in this photo so it must be before they were built

My brain has start to work again and i think you would be nearer the date than i was. The bairn being carried at the left side o the photo was born in 1958 and would about two or so

maybe he/she airbrushed them out Jimmy just to see if you were keeping your "weather eye" out on EVERYTHING that people generously submit to this wonderful community website.

Francis (Williamson) thinks he is either holding Raymond who was born in 1964 or Irene who was born in 1965. From the ages of his other children in the photo it is more likely to be Irene which would make this photo c 1967. Irene would be 2 in Nov 1967 which is about the right age for the child in the pic.
