Full version of the 1974 'Kirkwallian' (the late lamented KGS school magazine which I understand won the Scotsman Prize in 1982, and featured a long article about windpower by Flett, Heddle and Swanney...) article on the Black Building by Linda Smith and Julie Groat, part of which was sent in by Sandy a while back.
Evocative stuff, particularly when you can still see the left hand end of the boards in picture #22941 and picture #22944 from 1990.
