The date is only a guess. Must have been cold wether as the farm butter seems to be built up on the counter ok. Dont think it would build up like that in the summer

Fantastic to see this one. I am sure not even my Mum (Doreen nee Swanney, born in Stronsay, 1933, now down in Kent near me) has seen this photo of her Grandfather.
