I wonder if the boy in the middle in the second row might be my cousin Peter Thomson. Uncle Donald was a Customs Officer in Stronsay around that time.
Do you have names Jim?.

This photo is earlier than 1957.
The boy sixth from the left in the middle row is my brother, Peter. Our dad, Donald Thomson, was the Customs & Excise Officer in Stronsay. I think we left the island early 1956.
The boy forth from the left in the middle row is possibly Magnus Dennison.
