Comments:
No this is her older sister, Isabel. She was a nurse, (very religious) trained in Tottenham, London, nursed in Palestine, South Africa, Guernsey and elsewhere. She settled near her sister in Brixham, Devon, marrying later in life. I have a journal which she wrote when she was nursing in Palestine. She had some interesting adventures, caught typhoid, came back to Orkney for a short time to recuperate and wrote of her visits to friends and relatives in Kirkwall and Stronsay. At this time she was still in her twenties.
