My dear Grandfather Bill Scollay, I believe, second row from the front, extreme right.
He passed away in 1975.

My grandfather James Logie is third from the right in the front row. He retired from the Highland Park on 31st August,1950. I wonder if the photo could have been taken on the occasion of his retirement as he is the only worker sitting with the board members!

My Grandad ,Bill Rorie worked at the Highland Park, im not sure when . He won his mens Ba' on NY day 1939 and the report in the Orcadian said he worked there. I remember seeing a photo somewhere of him turning the malt. I think it used to be displayed on the Scrabster ferry a few years back.
Does anyone have or know the photo I'm meaning as i would love a copy. Cheers Greig

There had been some disagreement over which gentleman was my Granda.I initially stated to a cousin that he was on the fourth row and she stated the second(your Granda!).I was just a youngster when he passed-on.Thanks for the clarification.
