Sammy can't write but she has asked me to say the following, "I was very sad to hear that someone had suggested that I would bite Bill's grandchildren. Bill has been feeding me for twelve years now and we have built up a great trust and friendship. I particulary like frozen scad, which I know is expensive, but Bill doesn't mind. Sometimes he gives me a conger eel and I lie on my back beside his boat and skin the eel with my claws. I don'd like the skin but the rest is nice. Usually when he's leaving, he goes flat out (which is only about 6 knots) and I swim alongside and jump up about six feet to take a fish out of his hand. Yes, we are good friends, and I have no intention of biting the hand that feeds me, so I think you should leave it to Bill to be the judge and not try to spoil the friendship. By the way, dogs bite but you still feed them! " Good luck from Sammy.

That one looks very polite taking his tit bits, but they are not all like that. I was reaching ower the side to lift a big pollack in and a seal decided it was his dinner, near enough got my hand. He didn't ask politely, but then whose fish was it?

I'm a latecomer to this super pic. Sammy doesn't look pop-eyed here. Is yours the only boat she approaches Bill?
(It seems you haven't posted any pics lately. Hope you haven't had to retire with a bad case of multiple seal-bite.)

No Ian, I think she will go to anyone who will feed her. Hussy ! Sean dennison was saying she was around the Green Holmes earlier this year, so I hope to see her later on when I get the old boat in the water.

Thanks Bill. I take it you're unbitten.
