Back row right I think is Leslie Manson and though I'm his age group I don't recognise the others but if it was 1965 that would be about Primary 7 for us.

Think the goalkeeper is Tony Monkman, and would guess at front left perhaps being the late Tommy Miller.

I think this group is of a visiting schools football team from Sutherland.I recognise back row left, Lawrence Macrae and front row left, Billy Bokas, both Brora. Front row, second left, is Walter Mackay, Golspie.The other faces I recognise as boys from the county of Sutherland, mainly Golspie, but after 48 years their names evade my memory. Incidentally Billy Bokas has spent a lot of time in Orkney recently with Obrien Construction, involved in building the Council Offices, Housing, etc.

I believe this is the Ross Sutherland under 15 football team who we played at Bignold Park in 1965. Orkney won 4 - 2. See picture #1555 for details and names of Orkney team.
