A Dougie Cooper picture, January 1965, taken in the front bar of The St Ola Hotel, Kirkwall. Names? I recognise Masson Reid in the middle.

The guy behind Masson to his left is that Geordie bloke out of Auf wiedersehen pet .The chap further to the left with a pint in his hand looks like a young Fred ? who was a pilot on scapa tugs. and far left is Lance Perceval

WE think the following is accurate, l-r, Leslie (lugs) Leonard, Fred Johnston, Brian Thomson, Dougie Cooper, Jim Thomson (Tibby Tib), Masson Reid, Euan Thomson (Blondie), Ian Baikie, unknown but we're working on it.

The man with the cigarette looks like Jack Flett - a volunteer fireman in Kirkwall.

This photogragh is now centrepiece along the back wall within the newly re-furbished lounge bar of the St Ola Hotel.
It's brought tremendous character to the room and a great retention of History to the place.
