This is my grandfather John Spark Rendall born 1848 in Albert Street and died on 18.11.1927 at 34 Victoria Street. He was a Gas Fitter/ Tinsmith / Plumber to trade and owned the shop at 32 - 34 Victoria Street which shutdown in 1939. He was married twice, John Rendall the Plumber in Laing Street was a son from his first wife and Herbert Rendall the Tinsmith /Plumber my father and his sisters the two Miss Rendall's were teacher's both at Scapa School and Egilshay.

John Spark Rendall was the father of my father's aunt, Agnes, although she seems to have been brought up by a brother, James, and his other children.
