You could do that in the 60s appparently! Jim Eunson has posted a series of pictures from a scrapbook detailing this operation, and the first half have been uploaded to the public area of the site today. Come back tomorrow for the rest of these fascinating pictures!

I'm delving into pictures that have been bulk uploaded in the past, that I've held back to avoid swamping you with images that are similar all at once. They don't show up in the thumbnails below, which is strictly chronological by the date the pictures were submitted - so you might not see them. But you will if you use the Latest Additions button.

A Happy New Year to you all. Contributions and comments welcome as we go into 2017, and far more regular updates of the Image Library. There's a resolution for you! Cheers Steven
Want to help sell calendars?
Added on 13 December 2010 at 18:59 by Steven Heddle
Christmas is just around the corner, and just around the corner of that is 2011

This is something that makes those of us who have produced calendars for that year somewhat tense...

You can help though!

If every Orkneycommunities group took 10 calendars and sold most of them, we would easily sell all of the 1500 we have printed. We have sold more than enough to break even already, but as the object is to raise money for charity, and as every pound of any proceeds will go to Clan, Clic, or Macmillan, we want to sell as many as we can.

So I'm asking you to get touch with me at steven@kw15.co.uk or phone 877119 and ask for some calendars to sell to your group or workmates. No money upfront necessary! Just return any that are unsold with the money collected.

All help greatly appreciated!
