...for me at least. The beast that is the Orkneycommunities Charity Calendar is almost slain, and there is time to do all the things that I should have been doing, but haven't.
The pictures are picked, additional text has been written, and the poor folk at The Orcadian have many pages of obsessive instructions as to how it all goes together. 11 businesses have been cajoled to take out advertising to help underwrite the production costs.
So all that remains to do is to sell 1500 of them.
Any help is greatly appreciated- if your group or shop can sell them give me a shout. If you want to take up the remaining advertising space email me RIGHT NOW on firstname.lastname@example.org. It's £100 for 160 x 20 full-colour action-packed millimeters in the publication of the year. Can you afford not to?
In related breaking news, we are planning to launch the calendar at a 'social evening' for picture contributors, some time before the County Show. Cancel your holidays and leave the car at home, that's all I'm saying...
