Cathedral bells 3

In this picture you can judge how high up in the cathedral the bells are, from the nearby spire windows. The chunks out of the supporting beam show that there have been a few changes over the years. Anyone have a potted history of the bells in the cathedral?

Comments:
There are 3 bells in the tower gifted by Bishop Maxwell and were all originally cast in Edinburgh Castle, 1528. The largest was sent to Amsterdam to be recast August 1682 after the tower fire on Monday 9th January 1671 and weighs 1, 528lbs including tongue
