Well if I'm not mistaken thats Aimee Leonard, so that should give a better idea of the date - saying that, I don't actually remember it!

Can't have been much later than 1985 as Aimee would have been about 17 in around 1986. Sorry that's not a huge help!

1985 shopping week queen was jacqueline scott . Attendants leona sinclair from stromness and linda sabiston from evie .pipe band was inverkeithing pipe band

Well the girl above is definitely not Jacqueline Scott. The queen in this picture is Aimee Leonard - so the date must be earlier or later by one year. We'll get this solved one day! I should just ask Aimee....

The Pipe Band was indeed Inverkeithing pipe Band. I was very lucky to have been in the band that year. I won't forget Stromness shopping week. It is one of my favourite piping memories.
