Photograph taken about 1880.
These are my Great grandparents William Jolly and Jessie Marr Florence. William was born at West Hill, Shapinsay although his father is from Dunnottar, Kincardineshire. Jessie was born at Funnich in Kincardineshire just a couple of miles from where I live. Her whole family moved to Stromness in 1861, not long after she was born. A whole line of Jollies were produced, well known folk in Orkney.
