Taken this morning at 9.30 from the Hatston slip, on a cameraphone. The sun is rising approximately due SSE, showing how short a time it spends above the horizon at this time of the year (6 1/4 hours). In midsummer we'd be looking towards Shapinsay to see the sun come up.
