Trawler Amber Queen wrecked 1972? Was the Crew lost? What happened, where, which time of year. I was with a friend onboard Amber Queen in august 1968. Skipper was Tom Anderson, and the other fishermen George Skinner and James Pratt. The third seine hawling was a big shot! Normally guys get the fish ready, but there was a too big an amount haddock, cod etc and the were forced to go back to Stromness in order to get additional hands. The next night the crew and me and my friend crossed the Pentland firth to Thurso and we said thank you so much ja headed southward to Inverness. Please, do tell me if you know what happened with the trawler and the crew. Esko Rahikainen Espoo Finland.
